I have been looking around for this book and has always been out of stock. Finally I purchased it online from a book store in Johor Bahru, Johor. For Muslims, Surah (Chapter) Al-Fatihah has been integrated into their lives since childhood. Muslim children began to know their religion by learning to read and understand it. They could also memorize the chapter. When the child reaches adulthood, Surah Al-Fatihah has become inherent in him. It continues to be at the tip of the lips of a Muslim every time he prays, fasts, pays elm and conducts his religious ceremonies. Thus, it should be placed at the highest order, in accordance with its acclamation.
Samudera is a Sanskrit term literally meaning the "gathering together of waters". It refers to an ocean, sea or confluence. The word is also present in other languages influenced by Sanskrit. Samudera Al-Fatihah, the name of the book often believed to be a synthesis of the Quran. The Chapter although consists of 7 verses, it is like an endless ocean of infinity. The more we immerse into it, the more the pearls of knowledge are in it. It is a prayer at the very beginning of the Quran, which acts as a preface of it and implies that the book is for a person who is a seeker of truth—a reader who is asking a deity who is the only one worthy of all praise (and is the creator, owner, sustainer of the worlds etc) to guide him to a straight path. It can be said to encapsulate all of the metaphysical and thelogical realities of which human beings must remain conscious.
