Rite and Edible

A nostalgic food, salted egg. It is known as a century egg. It is either you will enjoy it or you just avoid it. It is a preserved egg soaked in brine or packed in a thick layer of salted charcoal paste. It is traditionally made with duck egg for a richer taste and texture. The egg white has a sharp salty taste and the yolk is rich and fatty.

Not only salted egg is served with rice and porridge, it can be consumed in the form of chips, french toast, pasta, pizza even dough nut and muffin. It has become a sought after flavor at present for its fans. Now that Ramadan is just around the corner, mixed rice with salted egg is essential for pre-dawn meal as it gives the sensational savor that will keep you awake!.

MTR Vegetarian Restaurant nestles in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur serves marvelous authentic Bangalore India food such as Masala Dosa or commonly known here as Masala Tosei. It goes with lentil bean as the inner gravy and olive oil poured on the dosa. My favourite drink is its special filter Arabica coffee bean with fresh goat milk. A clean and fast serving food restaurant, MTR has been here since 1924. Must try cause I enjoyed every minute of it! Friday 18/2/2022.
